De elastische lijn zorgt ervoor dat de lengte van de lijn geminimaliseerd wordt wat gevaarlijke situaties, zoals struikelen, kan voorkomen. Aan één zijde heeft de Delta 1 een veiligheidshaak (022 Kangri) en aan de andere zijde een aluminium steigerhaak (426 Fuji San). Andere haak combinaties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
